Recipe: Thanksgiving Pecan Pie

pecan pie3 eggs
1 cup light Karo syrup
1 cup sugar
2 T. melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
Dash of salt
1 cup pecan halves

In a medium sized bowl beat first five ingredients then stir in pecans.  Pour filling into unbaked 9” pie shell.  Bake at 350 degree oven for 50 – 55 minutes or until knife comes out clean.  Cool.  If desired serve with real, sweetened l whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
