A couple of weeks ago several of us had the pleasure of having dinner with Robert Kennedy, Jr.  while he was in Wisconsin to speak at UW-Platteville.  As many of you have read on the blog by now, we are very excited to part of Mr. Kennedy’s green renovation – The Kennedy Green House.  What you may not know is what a genuine, down- to-earth, regular guy he is. 

During dinner we discussed his childhood and how different it is raising kids these days, his commitment to preserving the environment for his grandkids and the generations to come, and his admiration for those who are doing everything they can to survive during these trying times. 

It was a very interesting and entertaining dinner but what was even more impressive was his speech at the University (read more here).   If you ever have the opportunity to attend one of his speaking engagements – GO!  I cannot believe how much I learned in such a short amount of time – thank you for commitment to the environment, Bobby, and sharing your passion with us!
